Our Stabilized Pathway Mix comes blended with a non-toxic, non-staining water activated binder. This binds and locks the crushed stone screenings to provide a durable, permeable, natural aggregate surface. This surface substantially resists the erosive effects of weather and traffic.

Stabilizer is the original non-toxic, non-staining organic soil stabilizer First introduced by Stabilizer Solutions, Inc. over 20 years ago. It has long been the international standard for stabilized crushed stone paving.

Stabilizer is our most cost-effective paving solution and is available pre-mixed with any of our over 25 colors of crushed aggregate.

Materials and installation cost can be approximately 40% less than a concrete surface and up to 70% less than a variety of paver surfaces.

Stabilizer- The Original Natural Binder
Stabilizer is an organic powder that stabilizes soil by binding soil particles. It is a natural, non-toxic, non-staining, odorless, environmentally safe powder derived from crushed seed hulls. Stabilizer can be used with a variety of crushed aggregates to create natural looking fire lanes, driveways, and parking areas. Stabilizer strengthens aggregates to withstand traffic and weather extremes. Stabilizer is patented and manufactured solely by Stabilizer Solutions, Inc. One ton of Stabilized aggregate typically covers 75 sq ft. at a 3” depth. Coverage will vary depending on aggregate.

Water-activation of this product is accomplished by thoroughly soaking the material in place and then compacting. Once dry, this surface will reabsorb a limited amount of water and remain porous, yet will retain its’ firmness, even in very wet conditions.
