Erosion Control Hi-Velocity Blanket 8ft x 50ft (44.4 Sq Yd) Heavy Duty Curlex Blankets, for long-term protection against wind and water erosion, are a natural choice in place of stone or riprap in swales, ditch bottoms, and on long, steep slopes. Material Characteristics Curlex® III 1.25 lb/yd2 of 100% Aspen Excelsior Wood Fibers designed to provide protection for grass seed and topsoil from wind and water erosion for approximately 24 months, while simultaneously promoting ideal growing conditions. Curlex® Enforcer® 1.25 lb/yd2 of 100% Aspen Excelsior Wood Fibers designed to provide a fiber service life of approximately 24-36 months, but the remaining components of the product are permanent. It is bound by two layers of extra heavy-duty black UV stabilized netting to provide permanent reinforcement between established vegetation and root systems in channel bottoms or on slopes. Curlex® High Velocity™ (HV) 1.62 lb/yd2 of 100% Aspen Excelsior Wood Fibers designed to provide extended protection for grass seed and topsoil from wind and water erosion for approximately 36+ months, while simultaneously promoting ideal growing conditions on steep, long slopes and/or in channel applications
